Beech Plywood

Solid Beech Plywood

Solid beech plywood is made up of several layers of peeled beech veneers, which are bonded together with urea-formaldehyde adhesive. The grain direction of each adjacent veneer is oriented perpendicular to one another. Due to its excellent properties, such as high strength, toughness, flexibility, and dimensional stability, this plywood is highly valued in the furniture and woodworking industries, as well as in the production of packaging, toys, and musical instruments.

These panels are non-toxic and comply with the E-1 formaldehyde emission standard according to ČSN EN 717-1. If stricter formaldehyde emission limits are required, a version that meets CARB Phase II requirements according to ASTM D 6007-14 is available.

Thanks to their excellent strength properties, solid beech plywood panels are ideal for use in the furniture and woodworking industries. Beech plywood is available in multifine, multiplex variants or as phenolic film-faced plywood.
